San Siro Stadium & Concerts from Brera: the Direct M5 Route
Going to an AC Milan or Inter match, a stadium tour, or one of Milan's biggest concerts? From Taylor's Love Solferino B&B in central Brera, the simplest route is a short walk to Milano Porta Garibaldi FS, followed by the direct M5 lilac metro to its final stop, San Siro Stadio. There are no changes.

For the 2026 summer concert season, the City of Milan advises visitors to use public transport and publishes a special mobility plan for the San Siro area. M1 and M5 may run later on major concert nights, but the exact service can change for each event.
Good return-home habit: save the live route before leaving, check the official event-day transport notice, and follow staff signs when exiting the stadium. The M5 entrance can be very busy immediately after the show.

Opened in 1926 and officially named after Giuseppe Meazza, San Siro is shared by AC Milan and Inter. It hosted the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics on 6 February 2026 and remains one of the city's defining sports and music venues.
The official Museum & Tour includes the museum, dressing rooms, players' tunnel, pitchside area and grandstand. Opening times and the route can change on match or event days, so check the stadium's own calendar before travelling.

You stay in Milan's historic centre, close to restaurants and aperitivo in Brera and Corso Garibaldi, while the M5 gives you a direct ride to the stadium. After the event, the B&B is only the familiar 650-metre walk from Porta Garibaldi. Check-in is independent, so a late return does not require a reception desk.
