Driving to Brera without stress: Area C and parking near the B&B

The main door at Via Solferino 56 is just inside the Area C boundary — about 5 metres beyond it according to the host’s local indication. Choose your route and parking option for your arrival time before setting off.

When Area C applies. Area C is active Monday to Friday, 07:30–19:30, excluding public holidays. It is inactive in the evening, at night, on weekends and on public holidays. The ticket applies to entry during active hours: entering while Area C is inactive and leaving later does not create a new Area C ticket. The standard ticket is EUR 7.50 and must be activated with the vehicle’s number plate by midnight on the day after entry. Always check vehicle eligibility, plate, route and current rules on the City of Milan website before driving.

Solferino Garibaldi Parking — Via Solferino 39. The nearest paid garage is open 24 hours, has a 2.30 m height limit and is inside Area C. For an eligible vehicle and a stay longer than one hour, the garage can sell the EUR 4.50 affiliated Area C ticket. Ask on arrival and ensure activation by midnight on the day of entry.

APCOA XXV Aprile — Piazza XXV Aprile 16/A. This staffed, automated underground garage is open 24/7, with 333 spaces and a 2.00 m height limit. It is about 230 metres, or 3 minutes on foot, from our main door. It can be reached without crossing an Area C gate, but set and verify your own route before driving. Rates checked on 2 October 2026: EUR 3.80 per hour, maximum EUR 26 per day; between 23:00 and 10:00 the first hour is EUR 1.40. Rates may change.

Possible street spaces, never guaranteed. The host reports around eight spaces along the Bastioni di Porta Nuova service road beneath the trees, and around four more in the small dead-end pocket near Bastioni di Porta Nuova 9 and Carlsberg Øl Osteria della Chiusa. These are local tips, not reserved parking: always check current road markings, signs, restrictions and actual availability. Carlsberg is also the host’s personal nearby restaurant suggestion for good value.

The property cannot guarantee a parking space. To stay outside Area C during active hours, APCOA XXV Aprile is a practical option; for the nearest garage, Solferino Garibaldi Parking can handle the affiliated ticket where applicable.

Quando si paga Area C. Area C è attiva dal lunedì al venerdì, 07:30–19:30, festivi esclusi. Non è attiva la sera, la notte, nel fine settimana e nei festivi. Il ticket riguarda l’ingresso negli orari attivi: entrare quando Area C è inattiva e uscire in seguito non genera un nuovo ticket Area C. Il ticket ordinario costa 7,50 euro e va attivato con la targa entro la mezzanotte del giorno successivo all’ingresso. Prima di partire verificate sempre idoneità del veicolo, targa, percorso e regole correnti sul sito del Comune di Milano.

Solferino Garibaldi Parking — Via Solferino 39. Il garage a pagamento più vicino è aperto H24, ha un’altezza massima di 2,30 m e si trova dentro Area C. Per un veicolo idoneo e una sosta superiore a un’ora può vendere il ticket Area C convenzionato da 4,50 euro. Chiedetelo all’arrivo e assicuratevi che sia attivato entro la mezzanotte del giorno d’ingresso.

APCOA XXV Aprile — Piazza XXV Aprile 16/A. Il garage sotterraneo, automatico e presidiato, è aperto H24/7, con 333 posti e altezza massima 2,00 m. Dista circa 230 metri, 3 minuti a piedi, dal portone. È raggiungibile senza attraversare un varco Area C, ma impostate e verificate personalmente il percorso prima di partire. Tariffe controllate il 2 ottobre 2026: 3,80 euro/ora, massimo 26 euro al giorno; tra le 23:00 e le 10:00 la prima ora costa 1,40 euro. Le tariffe possono cambiare.

Possibili posti in strada, mai garantiti. Il proprietario segnala circa otto spazi lungo il controviale alberato di Bastioni di Porta Nuova e circa quattro nella piccola insenatura senza uscita vicino a Bastioni di Porta Nuova 9 e al Carlsberg Øl Osteria della Chiusa. Sono indicazioni locali, non posti riservati: controllate sempre strisce, cartelli, divieti e disponibilità effettiva. Carlsberg è anche un ristorante vicino consigliato personalmente dall’host per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

La struttura non garantisce un posto auto. Per restare fuori Area C negli orari attivi, APCOA XXV Aprile è una soluzione pratica; per il garage più vicino, Solferino Garibaldi Parking può gestire il ticket convenzionato quando applicabile.
